Join Wendo, the imaginative artist behind Handmaiden Canada, for a truly unique needle felting experience at Muskoka Yarn & Fibrefest. With years of experience in fibre art, Wendo is best known for her whimsical style and playful approach to felting. She brings characters to life through her signature vegan taxidermy and creative 3D sculptures.
Wendo’s workshops are fun, welcoming, and designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re new to needle felting or looking to sharpen your techniques, her relaxed teaching style and infectious enthusiasm will inspire you to create something magical.
Discover the art of nuno felting in this tactile and creative workshop led by fibre artist Wendo. Using wet felting techniques, you'll learn how to bond wool fibre onto and through a sheer scarf to create a one-of-a-kind wearable piece that's uniquely yours.
Whether you're completely new to felting or curious to try a new technique, this hands-on class will walk you through every step of the process. No two scarves come out the same — the colours, the texture, the drape — it all comes together in a way that's yours alone.
