We’re thrilled to welcome Carrie Chant, owner of Wyldespun, as the instructor for our Tunisian Crochet Workshop at Muskoka Yarn & Fibrefest!
Carrie is a passionate fibre artist and seasoned spinner who has been creating since 2018. Through her brand Wyldespun, she designs exquisite live edge spindles and fibre tools that bring adventure, creativity, and a little bit of magic to every project.
Carrie’s love for handmade craftsmanship shines through in her teaching. In this workshop, she will guide you through the basics of Tunisian crochet using hand-dyed yarn, helping you build confidence stitch by stitch.
Whether you’re new to Tunisian crochet or eager to expand your skills, Carrie’s welcoming and encouraging style will make you feel right at home.

You’ll discover how to start a Tunisian crochet Tam—a cozy and stylish hat that’s part Tam, part Beret. This workshop covers everything you need to know: Tunisian knit stitch, increasing, decreasing, and finishing with knit-style ribbing.
Your workshop fee includes a complete kit:
