Join Wendo, the imaginative artist behind Handmaiden Canada, for a truly unique needle felting experience at Muskoka Yarn & Fibrefest. With years of experience in fibre art, Wendo is best known for her whimsical style and playful approach to felting. She brings characters to life through her signature vegan taxidermy and creative 3D sculptures.
Wendo’s workshops are fun, welcoming, and designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re new to needle felting or looking to sharpen your techniques, her relaxed teaching style and infectious enthusiasm will inspire you to create something magical.
Discover the magic of 3D needle felting in this fun and creative workshop led by fibre artist Wendo. You'll learn how to build a simple wire armature and bring it to life with wool roving as you create your very own whimsical mouse—Frank the Dancer.
Whether you're new to needle felting or looking to build your skills, this hands-on class will guide you through each step of the process. You'll leave with a charming character full of personality—and possibly a new name if your Frank decides to dance to their own tune!
