Meet Marisa Veri – Fibre Artist & Instructor

Marisa Veri is the creative mind behind Pretty Little Yarns Ltd., Dye Pretty Yarn + Fibre, and Felt Pretty. A former interior designer, Marisa brings her love of colour, design, and creativity into every part of her fibre arts journey.

She learned to knit at just 7 years old and has since mastered crochet, hand spinning, wheel spinning, needle felting, and dyeing. Today, Marisa’s passion for vibrant colour and handmade art shines through her work.

As a workshop instructor, Marisa shares her skills with warmth and enthusiasm, helping students of all levels create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. Her classes are welcoming, inspiring, and a perfect place to dive into the world of yarn and fibre arts.

Description

Discover the joy of weaving at our Whimsical Weaving workshop! Whether you are brand new to weaving or looking to refresh your skills, this hands-on class will help you unleash your creativity, one knot at a time.

Guided by Marisa from Pretty Little Yarns Ltd., you will start by learning how to warp your mini-loom. From there, you will explore a variety of weaving techniques, including plain weave, twill weave, RYA knots, soumak knots, and sinna knots. By the end of the session, you will be well on your way to completing your very own woven tapestry.
