Annika hails from Dragon Strings, an indie dye studio renowned for its exquisite colorways and sumptuously soft yarn bases. With Annika’s guidance, you’ll discover the joy of pushing your knitting boundaries while basking in the beauty of hand-dyed yarn.
Step into the colourful world of yarn dyeing with our Dyeing with Dragons Workshop!
In this hands-on session, you will learn how to transform plain skeins into vibrant works of art. You’ll master expert colour mixing techniques to create endless beautiful shades. With pans and squirters full of bright dyes, you’ll bring your imagination to life and design your own unique yarn.
Your first skein of yarn is included to dye during the workshop. Additional skeins will be available for purchase on the day of the event for $30 each, giving you the chance to keep experimenting!
All materials—including dyes, pans, squirters, and expert instruction—are included in your workshop fee.
Please wear old clothing that can handle a little dye splatter and bring shoes suitable for crafting. Feel free to bring photos, artwork, or anything else that inspires your creativity.
