Meet Marisa Veri – Fibre Artist & Instructor
Marisa Veri is the creative mind behind Pretty Little Yarns Ltd., Dye Pretty Yarn + Fibre, and Felt Pretty. A former interior designer, Marisa brings her love of colour, design, and creativity into every part of her fibre arts journey.
She learned to knit at just 7 years old and has since mastered crochet, hand spinning, wheel spinning, needle felting, and dyeing. Today, Marisa’s passion for vibrant colour and handmade art shines through her work.
As a workshop instructor, Marisa shares her skills with warmth and enthusiasm, helping students of all levels create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. Her classes are welcoming, inspiring, and a perfect place to dive into the world of yarn and fibre arts.

Discover the timeless beauty of knitted cables in this beginner-friendly workshop at Muskoka Yarn & Fibrefest! Guided by expert Marisa Veri, you will learn how to create stunning texture with cables using the Beacon Hat pattern.
During the class, you will master the symbols and abbreviations needed to confidently read cable knitting charts and patterns. You will begin by cabling with a cable needle and finish the class knowing how to cable without one!
Perfect for experienced beginners, this session will help you start adding cables to any knitting project with ease.

Dye Pretty Yarn + Fibre hand-dyed hat kits available for $38 + HST
Please Bring:
US11 (8.0mm) and US15 (10.0mm) 16” circular needles and double-pointed needles (or size needed to match pattern gauge)
Stitch marker
Darning needle
Small scissors
