Who Is Electric Ewe?
Electric Ewe is the creation of Olga — mom to three teenage boys and three cats, and the maker behind this Canadian handmade fibre arts business. Olga learned to knit and crochet from her grandmother at a young age, and after years of university, work, and raising a family, she found her way back to the craft. That return led to a deep interest in spinning and hand-dyeing yarn, and eventually, to the birth of Electric Ewe.
Why Electric Ewe Exists
Electric Ewe was born out of Olga’s need to obsessively create — and to share the joy of making with others, especially children. She believes strongly in balancing the overstimulation of our fast-paced, technology-driven world with the mindful, slower process of making things by hand. That simple act reduces stress, improves focus, and creates real opportunities for community and connection.
