Luxury Angora Rabbit Fibre, Direct from the Source

Angora rabbit fibre is one of the most luxurious natural fibres you can work with — and Lena of Maple Glen Angoras is one of the few people in Ontario producing it directly from her own rabbits.

Angora Fibre, Batts, Rovings & Handspun Yarn

At Muskoka Yarn & Fibrefest, Lena brings raw angora rabbit fibre, carded batts in both natural and dyed-and-blended varieties, rovings ready for spinning, and skeins of finished yarn.

Blended Angora Batts for Spinners & Fibre Artists

The blended batts — angora paired with silks, alpaca, and fine wools — create a fibre with a feel that’s genuinely hard to describe until you’ve held it. For spinners, this is the kind of booth that makes a festival.

Farm-Raised Fibre from Maple Glen Angoras

Every fibre at the Maple Glen Angoras booth comes from animals Lena raises herself — as close to the source as it gets.

Tara Morris is a fibre artist based out of Ottawa, Ontario. She has lived and travelled all over Canada and takes inspiration from the country’s diverse landscape to weave scenes of land, water and sky.
