Tonya Meadows — Muskoka Fibrefest 2026 Vendor
A Local Muskoka Metalsmith Crafting Handmade Embellishments for Fibre Artists
Tonya Meadows is a metalsmith who lives right here in Muskoka, Ontario, and her work sits at the intersection of two crafts that don’t often meet on the same table — metalsmithing and fibre arts.
From The Haliburton School of Arts to Handmade Silver, Copper and Brass
Tonya’s interest in metalsmithing started at The Haliburton School of Arts. As a metalsmith, she most enjoys working with silver, copper and brass — three traditional metals that each bring their own warmth, weight and character to a finished piece.
Handmade Embellishments Designed for Knit and Crochet Projects
Tonya’s love of knitting, crochet, and many other fibre hobbies is what set her on this path. She started by designing handmade embellishments for her own finished knit and crochet projects, and her work grew from there.
Inspired by the Nature of Muskoka
Living in Muskoka means being surrounded by beautiful nature every day, and Tonya’s work reflects that directly. The result is organic, handmade jewellery and garment embellishments designed to complement all types of fibres.
Handmade Jewellery and Fibre Arts Notions
The range Tonya brings to Fibrefest 2026 is wide and genuinely useful for the fibre artist:
- Earrings, bracelets, rings and pendants
- Buttons and shawl pins
- Cuffs and closures
- Stitch markers and cable needles
- And much more
Custom Commissioned Pieces for Other Artisans
Tonya is passionate about the commissioned one-of-a-kind pieces she creates for other artisans, and welcomes new inspirations. If you’re working on a project that needs the right finishing detail — a button, a closure, a one-off shawl pin — this is the booth to have a conversation with.
